This Privacy Policy describes how SparqO("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account data: phone number, name, and email address provided during sign-up.
• Location data: your device's location, with your permission, to show nearby shops.
• Vehicle data: the cars and bikes you add to your garage (make, model, type).
• Booking data: booking history, slots, services, and status updates.
• Payment data: processed exclusively by Razorpay. We never store your card or UPI credentials on our servers.
• Device data: basic device identifiers, app version, and diagnostics for reliability.

3. How we use your information

• To provide and operate the Service.
• To surface nearby shops and manage bookings.
• To process payments and issue refunds.
• To send transactional notifications about your bookings.
• To detect abuse, fraud, and security issues.
• To improve the Service through anonymized analytics.

4. Sharing your information

We share information only with parties necessary to provide the Service:

• Partner shops: your name, vehicle, and booking details for the shop you're booking with.
• Firebase (Google) — for authentication and push notifications.
• Razorpay — for payment processing.
• Law enforcement, when legally required.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data retention

We retain your account and booking data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterwards for legal, tax, and accounting obligations. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@sparqo.in.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent for optional data uses.

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards: TLS encryption in transit, encrypted databases, Firebase Admin SDK for authentication, and PCI-DSS compliant payments via Razorpay.

8. Children's privacy

SparqO is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via the app or email.
